CARLOS CASADO Project
Bio
Carlos Casado Project is a newly formed musical group of New York City. Their music is a combination of modern and folklore that has successfully erected a new sound.
The compositions of jazz, folk, gipsy and rumba accentuated by the “gaita” (bagpipes from Asturies, northern Spain) are a unique fusion that gives the audience a pleasant surprise with their original and sophisticated trajectory of their presentations.
Northern Spain traditional sounds are a major component of a pleasant, happy and nostalgic experience. The Spanish community has been aware of their talent and as a result, the band has performed at Instituto Cervantes and Club España de Newark. They have also performed at Silvana and every Friday they can be seen at Centro Español de Queens.
